I have a Ph.D in anthropology from the University of California, San Diego. While at UCSD, I managed a large-scale, binational study of Mexican migration to the United States. If you’re interested in Mexican migration to the United States, youth soccer, and you have a spare couple days, might I suggest my dissertation as some light reading material?
I taught for a year in the Sociology and Anthropology department at Lewis and Clark College before moving out of academia. I then worked in the research department of Oregon Community Foundation, doing evaluation of two large-scale initiatives.
Today, I am a consultant, working with organizations across the country to improve communication of their research.
