About this Project
As Driscoll’s, the largest berry producer in the world, has expanded internationally, the company worked with the communities where its berries are grown to improve the quality of life for local communities. In recent years, Driscoll’s has increasingly grown berries in Mexico.
In 2014, I worked with a team of researchers to provide a report to Driscoll’s outlining suggestions for ways the company could have a positive influence in some of the areas in Mexico where their production was rapidly increasing. Visits to the communities allowed us to conduct interviews with key stakeholders. The report and presentation that resulted from this work provided Driscoll’s with a range of ideas to think about ways to practice corporate responsibility in these communities.More Info
